Santora Street, an ethical and sustainable marketplace, partners with Burn Bags USA to support a firewoman / small business owner / mother who created a way to reuse decommissioned fire hose.
Santora Street supports local handmade artisans in the United States. “Burn Bags USA is a team of women working hard to upcycle a resource that would otherwise be discarded, and turn it into a high-quality product that is carefully crafted by hand.” Said Santora Street’s founder, Briana Baldi. “It’s truly incredible! Santora Street is proud to partner with Burn Bags USA.”
Janelle Robinson’s classic burn bags are handmade by a group of women in her house in North Carolina. They use the highest quality waxed canvas and used fire hoses. Each bag includes the specific location where the fire hose has served.
Every bag purchased directly supports women who are getting a fresh start in life. Burn Bags USA is dedicated to helping women, previously in abusive situations and those recovering from addiction, get back on their feet.
Janelle, Owner of Burn Bags USA stated, “I am super excited to start working with Santora Street! We make our bags out of decommissioned fire hose right here in North Carolina, and every bag purchased directly supports women in recovery!”
